Model Photography: Lilith Gray
I spent few days in Ravenna, Italy, where I was born and raised. I had the chance to spend some time with Lilith Gray, a local model. She’s 22, very talented and good fun to work with. The weather was not on our side but we got lucky enough to take advantage of a few hours of good light. Enjoy!
Simple setup with the sun as a key light and my SB900 as a fill light. Using my Fuji X100 I was able to sync my flash to higher speeds than with my D600. I love that feature!
I’m still struggling with colors (Black And White are my bread and butter) but I’m slowly getting into it…
Dramatic sky, my favorite!
I love to capture a candid authentic laugh during a great shooting.
A little more sophisticated set up: key light with sb900 and the sun as back light, softened through a white fabric curtain. It was a bit tricky, but it came out really well.
My good friend Ivana (that you probably remember from previous shootings) was so kind to take BTS pics of this shooting. Have a look!
