Street Photography: Austin, Texas – 2011
ByA couple of years ago I was in Austin for a conference (SXSW) and of course my camera was with me. Texas a great source of inspiration, showing me a great variety of humanity. Enjoy a few shots from that trip.
This guy was showing a sign, looking for a job, standing in the middle of a crossroads. Bernhard was driving out big SUV and I was shotgun. It took just a moment to pick up my camera and take a pic of him, in a second the light turned green and we moved on.
Drugstores are the best place to understand a place. You can find all kind of stuff. I found someone not too happy to be portrayed.
For some reason I’m still laughing at this sign… ehmmm… of course…
I should have gone closer and I should have kept my camera straight. But I like it anyway.
Focus? Who needs to focus? Incredible enough, this photo works pretty good anyway.
